Unique spaces, sustainable design.

INNSPACE Lab is a small architecture practice working between the Dutch Caribbean and Colombia. We design private houses, apartment buildings and renovations, and we stay involved from the first sketch through to the finished room.

The two places we work in could not ask for more different buildings. Curaçao is arid and relentlessly bright — the work there is about shade, cross-ventilation, thick thresholds and materials that survive salt air. Medellín asks the opposite: an even, temperate year where a house can stay open to the outside almost all the time. Designing across both keeps us honest.

Lab is in our name because we treat every commission as a study rather than a template. We build models, test orientation, and draw far more than we need to — because the drawing is where the problems surface, not the site.
